Junior QA Automation - JavaScript to $1600

Norwegian product company is looking for a Junior Automation QA with at least 1 year of experience as QA to work solely on end-to-end testing for web applications. This role will involve implementing testing solutions using established frameworks and guidelines provided by the senior development team.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain end-to-end test scripts to ensure functionality and performance of web applications.
• Work closely with senior developers to follow best practices and adhere to established testing frameworks.
• Document test results and contribute to test reporting to keep the team informed on product quality.
• Identify and report any potential issues or improvements to enhance application stability.
• Maintain a clear understanding of the testing scope and project guidelines.
   

Key Tasks:

• Develop end-to-end tests based on user flows and specifications.
• Perform regular testing and debugging to detect and resolve issues before release.
• Work within a provided framework, adhering to structured testing procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvements by suggesting enhancements for testing processes.
   

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Front-End Development: At least 1 year experience as QA and ambition to learn automation
• TypeScript (preferred): Basic knowledge or experience is a big plus.
• Testing Frameworks (training provided): Previous experience with any testing framework
• Attention to Detail: Keen ability to identify issues and report them accurately.
   

Tools and Technologies:

• Core Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Frameworks and Tools: We are going to use the library “Playwright” for the tests.
• Testing & Reporting Tools: Training will be provided for specific internal tools used by the team.
