QA Engineer – Manual AND Automation to $2500 Offline

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS products. You will be responsible for testing key features such as authentication, payments, and user workflows while also building and maintaining automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in QA, including at least 2+ years in automation testing with JavaScript/TypeScript, and is comfortable working with API testing, test management tools, and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing for SaaS applications, focusing on authentication, payments, and user flows.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, providing detailed reproduction steps.
• Perform API testing using Postman or Insomnia, validating HTTP flows and ensuring data integrity.
• Work with JSON and JWT to validate data structures and security protocols.
• Maintain and improve test management processes using tools like Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and maintain high-quality standards.

• Ensure testing is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline and contribute to test automation strategies.
  
  Requirements:

  ✅ 5+ years of commercial experience in QA Engineering.
  ✅ 2+ years of manual testing experience, covering web applications and SaaS platforms.
  ✅ 2+ years of automation testing experience using JavaScript/TypeScript.
  ✅ Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and test case design.
  ✅ Experience with API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
  ✅ Familiarity with JSON, JWT, and HTTP requests/responses.
  ✅ Hands-on experience with test management tools like Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  ✅ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated testing integrates into the development workflow.
  ✅ English - Upper-Intermediate
   

  Will be a plus:
  ➕ Experience with security testing for web applications.
  ➕ Knowledge of performance testing tools.
  ➕ Exposure to Playwright or Cypress for automation testing.
