Senior DevOps Engineer with PHP experience Offline

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a PHP background, who will join our eCommerce Competency Center and the team delivering solutions for a Danish hearing aid manufacturer.

The main focus of the project is on the development of Kubernetes-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in the context of deployment and configuration of a Magento headless solution.

Your tasks:

• Designing the architecture for an enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure to support a CI/CD pipeline for Jenkins CI/CD;
• Developing and configuring infrastructure and Config as Code (Ansible and Terraform);
• Installing and maintaining a logging cluster using Logstash, ElasticSearch and Kibana as a centralized solution to parse logs from application and Docker containers;
• Configuring persistent storage for Kubernetes clusters/pods, utilizing best practices, configuring NFS, persistent volumes, persistent volume claims for state persistence, etc;
• Extending or customizing Magento Enterprise (multistore/website hierarchy);

• Performing 3-tier application deployments to cloud environments;

   

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing/administration production Kubernetes infrastructure with exposure to the use of cloud vendor Kubernetes solutions;
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud offerings in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS;
• Background in PHP development, preferably Magento e-commerce experience;
• Familiarity with orchestration, monitoring, and load-balancing tools;
• Previous work with Nginx, PHP-FPM, Varnish, and Redis configuration and optimization;
• Familiarity with building and handling VMs and containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, etc;
• Experience in Administration of Production, Development and Test environments carrying Windows, RedHat, Linux and Centos servers.
