Junior Manual QA Engineer Offline

Job Description:

Must have:

- 1.5+ years of testing background, including defining test strategy, test planning, test case design, and execution;

- Strong knowledge of QA theory, SDLC concepts and methodologies;

- Experience of using Bug Tracking and Test Case management systems (e.g. Xray, Zephyr);

- Experience of Web and/or Mobile testing, good understanding of web/mobile platforms standards and guidelines;

- Expertise in planning, designing, and execution of testing solutions including Functional, Regression, and End-to-End testing;

- Flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities or circumstances;

- Excellent communication skills with at least Upper-Intermediate English level (both verbal and written skills);

- BS in computer science or a related field

Job Responsibilities:

GlobalLogic team has been involved for many years in the development, deployment and support of many different areas of the solution. We are now looking for a talented QA Engineer to extend our growing team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with the Product and R&D teams, formulating test plans, preparing test cases, executing the tests, and fully documenting and reporting the results
• Requirements gathering, writing, monitoring, executing, and evaluating application tests
• Performing testing on websites' front ends, mobile applications, and application back-ends
• Assist in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
• Coordinate with co-developers, product owner, and send regular updates
