HEAD OF SALES
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Head of Sales is responsible for leading and developing the sales team to maximize revenue, ensure full coverage of potential leads, and drive customer satisfaction. This role oversees the full sales cycle, ensures implementation of sales strategies for each product and service, and acts as a benchmark salesperson—capable of closing any deal while training and motivating the team to do the same.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Contribute to developing sales strategies and setting sales targets.
- Conduct regular analysis of sales performance and revenue forecasts.
- Track market trends and adapt sales approaches to maximize opportunities.
2. Sales Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential.
- Provide hands-on coaching, including direct involvement in closing key deals.
- Set and track individual and team KPIs, ensuring high performance.
- Foster a results-driven and customer-oriented culture within the team.
3. Daily Sales Management
- Maintain daily control over sales numbers, client statuses, and team activities.
- Ensure all potential leads and customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Personally handle VIP clients and complex negotiations.
- Support and oversee client relationship management.
4. Call Center & Lead Management
- Ensure lead specialists correctly process and distribute all incoming leads.
- Monitor call center performance to optimize conversion rates.
5. Estimation Team Oversight
- Ensure estimation specialists prepare accurate and timely quotes.
- Implement and enforce estimation methodology and deadlines.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience & Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 3 years in a senior sales leadership role with a proven track record in glazing, windows and doors solutions, home improvements, architecture and design, construction, or home repair.
- Sales Leadership & Strategy: Ability to develop and implement sales strategies, train and manage a high-performing sales team, and drive revenue growth.
- Hands-on & Results-Driven: Willingness to engage directly in sales, work with clients, close deals, and consistently meet or exceed targets.
- Customer & Market Focus: Strong relationship management skills, including working with VIP clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adapting strategies to market trends.
- Analytical & Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in sales forecasting, KPI tracking, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making.
- Communication & team work: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
