Our client helps over 100 million travelers worldwide access better accommodation deals by providing a seamless booking experience. About the Project
Our client, based in the Netherlands, launched their platform in 2016 and has since scaled rapidly within the online travel sector. The platform integrates with major travel suppliers, offering users a unique way to compare and book accommodations.

- Team Structure: 2 Middle Engineers and an Engineering Manager from the client’s side

Responsibilities
- Design and develop products and features for the Internal Developer Platform, focusing on infrastructure, observability, and CI/CD.
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure a reliable, scalable, and maintainable ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and tech leads to refine requirements and define the scope of work.
- Understand the challenges of other engineering teams, analyze their systems, and support them in adopting platform solutions.
- Lead end-to-end development of features, from design to implementation.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality standards in releases.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members.
Present insights, updates, and improvements during demo sessions, guild meetings, or tech talks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Platform, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi or similar.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD frameworks like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or others.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or similar.
- Proven track record of architecting and leading complex technical solutions.
- Experience with backend development in languages like Go, Java, C#, or similar.
- Strong communication skills and a product-oriented mindset.
- English level: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher.
