Necessary skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in schematic and PCB design, with a focus on power electronics applications
• Deep knowledge of analog and digital electronics, specifically in power circuits and high-efficiency designs
• Familiarity with PCB design rules, including high-power and high-frequency layout considerations
• Experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
• Solid understanding of power electronics principles, including power supply design, voltage regulation, DC-DC converters, AC-DC conversion, and efficient power management
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools (e.g., LTspice, PLECS, or similar) to analyze and optimize power circuits before implementation
• Deep understanding of the board bring-up process, as well as identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues
• Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to power electronics, safety, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot power conversion efficiency issues, thermal challenges, and EMI concerns
• Keeping up with the latest trends and innovations in power electronics

• Intermediate level of English proficiency for technical documentation and collaboration

   

Will be a plus:

• Experience with temperature simulation tools for thermal analysis in power circuits
• Familiarity with automotive power electronics, including 48V systems, electric vehicle powertrains, and charging technologies
• Ability to write and debug embedded software to test and control power-related hardware components
• Experience in working collaboratively/leading a multidisciplinary team on power electronics projects
