About NuxGame: NuxGame is a leading technology company in the iGaming industry, providing innovative solutions that transform online gaming. We are developing a cutting-edge Risk Management System to enhance fraud prevention, player and provider risk evaluation, and compliance management. The Risk Management System will leverage advanced rule engines, internal and third-party KYC solutions, and BI-driven analytics to optimize risk assessment and fraud prevention.
 

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of our Risk Management System. This role requires expertise in designing scalable fraud prevention mechanisms, integrating compliance solutions, and enhancing player and provider risk assessment tools. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, structuring the backlog, and ensuring seamless integration with NuxGame’s data and BI infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment within the iGaming or financial sectors. You will work closely with data engineers, compliance experts, and development teams to build a scalable and effective risk management solution.

Key Responsibilities:
 

Risk Management System Development

  • Define and Develop Risk Management Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive risk management system for players, game providers, and games, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives.
  • Rule Engine Implementation: Develop and maintain a dynamic rule engine that allows operators to configure risk thresholds, fraud detection parameters, and compliance requirements dynamically.
  • Fraud Prevention Mechanisms: Work with data analysts and BI teams to implement machine-learning-based fraud detection models and automated risk scoring algorithms.

Integration with Compliance & KYC Solutions

  • Third-Party Compliance Integration: Oversee the integration of third-party KYC, AML, and fraud prevention providers to enhance platform security and compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance Support: Ensure that the risk management system aligns with international gaming regulations and licensing requirements, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
  • Automated Risk Scoring: Develop automated risk scoring models to assess player behavior, transactional patterns, and provider credibility in real time.

Responsible Gambling & Player Protection

  • Implement Responsible Gambling Tools: Develop, maintain, and improve responsible gambling features, including self-exclusion, deposit limits, loss limits, and reality checks.
  • Monitor Player Behavior for Problem Gambling Indicators: Work with BI and compliance teams to identify patterns of problematic gambling behavior and implement proactive intervention strategies.
  • Compliance with Responsible Gaming Regulations: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regional regulations related to responsible gambling, player protection, and social responsibility.

Data-Driven Decision Making & BI Reporting

  • Data & BI Collaboration: Work with the data and BI teams to create analytics dashboards, risk reporting tools, and real-time fraud monitoring systems.
  • Performance Metrics & Analysis: Define and track KPIs for fraud prevention, risk analysis, and compliance adherence.
  • Incident Reporting & Analysis: Implement tools for automated reporting and analysis of risk-related incidents, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of risk rules.

Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and business teams to deliver a robust and effective risk management platform.
  • User & Operator Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from operators and internal stakeholders to refine risk management rules and improve fraud detection accuracy.
  • Scalability & Future Enhancements: Continuously improve the risk management system to adapt to evolving fraud trends and regulatory changes.

 

Education, Qualifications & Experience:
 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on risk management, fraud prevention, or compliance within iGaming.
  • Proven expertise in developing risk assessment tools, rule engines, or fraud detection mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to risk evaluation and compliance management.
  • Experience working with KYC, AML, and fraud prevention providers and integrating third-party risk solutions.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks related to iGaming, payments, or financial institutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and external regulatory stakeholders
