Senior Python Developer

We are a pioneering SaaS LegalTech startup poised to revolutionize the notary industry. Our top-notch notary services platform empowers users with real-time document notarizations, available at their fingertips.

As a Senior Python Developer with Frontend Skills, you will develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python (Django). You will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Python and Django framework, Svelte.js, and AWS.
• Collaborate with product manager, designer, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software development.
• Perform code reviews, debug issues, and optimize application performance.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend and frontend development.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Python (Django) development.
• Experience with Django Channels and WebSockets is a plus.
• Experience with the message-broker system.
• Experience with frontend React-like frameworks, experience with Svelte is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the development cycle from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring.
• Experience with Git.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience covering code with unit/functional tests.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with OpenCV and FFmpeg is a plus.
• Proficiency in written English at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools for both backend and frontend.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
