Embedded Linux C/C++ developer

The Slovak subsidiary Ozzylogik s.r.o. has global responsibility for sales, development, and production of high-tech equipment and software. 

Due to the expansion of our office in Slovakia, we are looking for a Embedded Linux C/C++ developer

Responsibilities: 

• Implementation and optimization of algorithms for C and C++ in digital signal processing: searching and verifying optimal algorithms, developing proprietary algorithms.
• Organizing client-server architecture for data transmission.
• Managing network protocols at the MAC layer.
• Writing drivers for specialized peripherals (including those implemented on FPGA).

Technologies we use: Linux С/С++, Qt

The project team: 1 mathematician, 2 C++ developers, 2 FPGA developers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with C and C++.
• Proficiency with Qt, STL, Boost.
• Experience in software development for microcontrollers. Basic knowledge of interfaces and protocols: UART, I2C, SPI.
• Higher technical education in "Information Systems", "Applied Mathematics", "Radio Engineering", or related fields.
• Proficiency in English for reading technical documentation.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with non-standard peripherals, experience creating drivers.
• Knowledge of telecommunications technologies (digital data transmission).
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB (understanding of written code).
• Ability to work with SDR.
• Familiarity with high-speed data transmission standards (10G Ethernet, USB3, JESD204).
• Knowledge of radio engineering, radar, and digital data transmission (modulation, filtering, encoding).
• Understanding of digital signal processing principles.
• Basic FPGA knowledge.
• Experience with measuring equipment.
