Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a Development Background

About the Company

We are building a modern cloud-native infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and managing applications efficiently. We utilize Kubernetes, Pulumi, cdk8s, and actively implement SRE practices. Responsibilities:

• Transitioning from Terraform to Pulumi (TypeScript/Golang)
• Implementing cdk8s for declarative Kubernetes resource management
• Supporting AWS infrastructure (EKS, S3, IAM, RDS, etc.)
• Optimizing CI/CD pipelines, integrating with ArgoCD
• Monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo)
• Automating processes and implementing SRE methodologies (SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets)
• Collaborating with development teams to improve service reliability. 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in SRE / DevOps or a similar role
• Software development experience (Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)
• Hands-on experience with AWS
•  Kubernetes, Jsonnet/Tanka, Pulumi (or Terraform)
• Strong Linux, Networking, and Security fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CDK8s, Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd, etc.)
• Working with NoSQL/SQL databases
• Experience with distributed systems
