Position: Manual QA Engineer & Business Analyst (Trainee → Full-time, Remote)
Overview
We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer & Business Analyst Trainee who will start part-time (up to 4 hours/day)and transition into a full-time role based on performance. This is a fully remote position, with meetings scheduled in the evenings (until 7-8 PM Ukraine time) to accommodate collaboration.
Upon transitioning to full-time, team members benefit from an unlimited absence days policy, allowing flexibility while maintaining productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis (BA) Responsibilities
- Capture & Document Requirements – Work closely with stakeholders to document product requirements, ensuring they are clear, structured, and well-defined.
- Write & Maintain User Stories – Develop well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria following best practices.
- Process Improvement & Feedback – Analyze existing processes, suggest improvements, and document recommendations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with product managers and developers to refine and clarify business needs.
- Backlog Management – Assist in organizing and maintaining the product backlog in Jira.
QA Responsibilities
- Manual Testing – Perform functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing.
- Test Case Creation & Execution – Write detailed and well-structured test cases, execute them, and log defects in Jira.
- Bug Reporting & Tracking – Identify, document, and prioritize bugs, ensuring clear and actionable reports.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – Assist in user acceptance testing by validating features against business requirements.
- Cross-team Communication – Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure product quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Completed QA courses.
- English Proficiency (Written & Reading) – Must be able to read and write fluently; speaking skills are not required.
- Jira Experience – Comfortable using Jira for managing requirements, test cases, and bug tracking.
- Understanding of Good User Stories – Ability to structure well-written user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to break down complex requirements, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
- Product Improvement Mindset – Ability to analyze existing features and suggest enhancements.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
- Part-time Start – Up to 4 hours per day during the trainee period.
- Evening Meetings – Must be available for meetings until 7-8 PM Ukraine time.
