Wordpress Developer \ Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to building and optimizing high-quality websites, including e-commerce stores using WordPress and WooCommerce. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of WordPress development, including themes, plugins, and customizations, with additional technical knowledge being a significant advantage. Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher) is required for effective communication with our international team.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product managers to implement web solutions on WordPress, including e-commerce stores using WooCommerce.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Integrate third-party plugins and APIs into WordPress websites.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Stay updated with WordPress platform updates, web development trends, and e-commerce best practices.
   

Requirements:

• Experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
• Experience with WooCommerce, particularly with checkout customization.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with WordPress REST API and third-party plugin integrations.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of basic SEO principles and tools.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
   

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with shipping methods in WooCommerce.
• Experience with custom WordPress plugin development.
• Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms like Shopify or similar.
• Understanding of payment gateway and shipping integrations in WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of performance optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse).
• Experience with Agile or Scrum workflows.
