Middle+/Senior DevOps Engineer (Freelance)

     About the Project

We are looking for a skilled Middle+/Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS infrastructure setup and experience working across cloud platforms. This role is ideal for professionals who can allocate flexible hours on demand, with intensive involvement at the beginning of projects and ongoing support as needed.

      Responsibilities

• Primary focus: AWS environment setup for new projects.
• On-demand involvement: Intensive allocation of 20-40 hours/week for short periods (approx. 1 week) to perform infrastructure setup.
• Ongoing support of 4-8 hours/week per request for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to join projects at any stage and set up infrastructure quickly.
  Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: 3-5 years of commercial experience in DevOps, with deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc.) – priority; Azure (AKS, Blob Storage, Virtual Machines); GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine). Experience with cloud-native technologies like serverless and microservices.
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker (containerization, Dockerfiles, orchestration), Kubernetes (cluster management, Helm charts, microservices deployment), Docker Compose.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform (preferred), AWS CloudFormation.
  • Version Control: Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), Git Flow for managing branching strategies.
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket CI/CD – experience with pipeline automation.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with industry-standard tools for infrastructure monitoring and logging.
  • English Level: Upper-intermediate or strong intermediate.
