DWH Engineer

This opportunity is for the skilled DWH Engineer who will join us to work on a product for the Pharma industry. We are building a DWH + BI system to monitor the drug flow in the USA. The team consists of domain experts, BI engineers, Business Analyst, Python Developers, DevOps and QA engineers. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, implement, and maintain a scalable and efficient data warehouse.
• Implement improvements to the data warehouse to enhance performance and usability.
• Together with DebOPs team to design, build, and manage infrastructure for data collection, storage, and analysis.
• Write, optimize, and maintain ETL processes to streamline data integration and transformation.
• Conducting data analysis.
• Develop reports and data representation that provide insights.
• Monitor data systems to ensure their reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs or performance issues.
• Use data pipeline tools and operations (e.g. automation) where necessary.

Key requirements:

Technical skills:

• English: Upper-intermediate level and higher.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MsSQL, and MongoDB.
• AWS services, including S3 buckets, CodePipeline, EC2, ECS, SNS, SQS, and Lambda.
• Version control (Git, Bitbucket).
• Understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and networking concepts.
   
• Experience with QlikSense is optional but a plus.

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical thinking to solve complex problems and optimize processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate data-driven insights effectively.
• Proactive attitude and the ability to anticipate project needs.
• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to end users.
