Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer

Everstake is a blockchain company with Ukrainian roots, ranked among the top 10 validators globally. We collaborate with over 80 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain networks. As we grow and continuously improve, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role involves tackling complex engineering challenges using cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

Technical Background:

• A degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of hands-on experience.

Core Skills:

• Experience working with *nix-like operating systems.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI (GitHub Actions is a plus).
• Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Ability to write automation scripts using Bash, Python, Go, Rust, or JavaScript.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Zabbix.
• Understanding of DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of network security and access control.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and bare-metal servers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• A proactive approach to learning new tools and solving problems.
• Familiarity with additional IaC tools (Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience working with databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setting up CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
• Automating testing, build, and deployment processes.
• Optimizing pipelines to increase speed and reliability.
• Automating infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Containerizing services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Writing automation scripts in Bash, Python, or Groovy.
• Implementing monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix.
• Identifying and troubleshooting issues in deployment processes.
• Analyzing logs, debugging errors, and improving system stability.
• Integrating automated vulnerability scanners and access controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Managing secrets securely with HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS.
• Following DevSecOps best practices.
• Working closely with developers, DevOps, and security engineers to improve DevOps processes.
• Reviewing automation processes and sharing best practices with the team.
• Engaging in Slack discussions and participating in technical meetings.
