About the Project: Оur client, a renowned provider of ceremonial robes, judiciary attire, and graduation services, is undergoing a significant digital transformation. The project entails taking over the support, maintenance, and modernization of their existing digital platform from the current vendor (Endava), ensuring system stability, security, and future scalability. The technology stack includes Azure, .NET Framework, Umbraco CMS, Angular, and various legacy and modern tools.

Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the platform’s infrastructure while enabling the development team to efficiently deliver new features. Your expertise in Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure optimization will be crucial in ensuring a seamless digital transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Maintain, optimize, and secure the Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to enable smooth deployments and automated testing.
• Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, etc.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to resolve infrastructure-related bottlenecks.
• Legacy System Modernization: Assist in migrating TFS repositories to Git and transitioning legacy infrastructure components to modern standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services (App Services, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, release management, artifact repositories).
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Experience in monitoring and logging with tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana.
• Solid understanding of networking, security policies, and access management in a cloud environment.
• Upper-Intermediate English for communication with international teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with .NET applications and Umbraco CMS in a DevOps role.
• Familiarity with Angular and frontend CI/CD optimizations.
• Experience with Dynamics CRM, Magento E-commerce, or Navision ERP.
• Exposure to legacy .NET Framework application deployments and upgrades.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration and IIS configuration.
