DevOps/SRE for GoDaddy
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will work on our migration and execution system with our engineering unit in Lviv.
Our team is working on consolidating GoDaddy’s hosting and email platforms by migrating existing infrastructure and acquisitions to a unified architecture.
Your Role
You will be directly involved in developing, executing, and troubleshooting migrations of hosting and email platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing source and target environments, automating migration processes, diagnosing failures, and improving migration reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate source and target hosting/email platforms and develop automated migration workflows.
- Create and maintain migration scripts using Python/Bash and Ansible.
Work with APIs (REST/SOAP) to automate provisioning and configuration tasks.
- Debug and resolve migration failures at OS, application, and data levels.
- Optimize migration processes for efficiency and reliability.
- Document processes, common issues, and solutions to improve future migrations.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Ansible (writing playbooks, automating routine tasks, using modules, plugins, fine-tuning etc.)
- Experience with hosting panels (cPanel, Plesk, etc.).
- Experience with web servers (Apache, IIS) and database systems (MySQL, MSSQL).
- Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP).
- Experience with Linux administration (Bash, shell utilities, troubleshooting).
- Basic programming skills in Python/Bash.
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages (preferably PowerShell).
- Knowing the mail platforms (OpenExchange, MS Exchange) would be nice.
- Knowledge of ELK stack for logging and debugging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot failures independently.
- Spoken English at a Intermediate level or higher.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Team player – capable of working in a friendly and approachable way.

Yes, there is a 3-month probation period.
- What is the expected work schedule?
Full-time, flexible. You can work remotely and also you can choose hybrid mode where you can combine working on-site (in Lviv office) and remotely.

Annual paid vacation — 20 working days/ 7 unconfirmed sick days/days off a year.
