DevOps Engineer (Blockchain)

Everstake Company - the largest blockchain network validator in Ukraine, has an open position for a DevOps Engineer. Below are the details of the role. If you are interested, we are ready to discuss further and help you learn new technologies and understand blockchain networks.
 

Requirements:

• Technical background and 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Good understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS); hands-on experience with L3 switches and routers will be a plus
• Solid experience in operating system administration - Linux (Debian/Ubuntu)
• Skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python)
• Solid experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose)
• Experience using provisioning/automation tools - Ansible, Chef, SaltStack, Terraform
• Experience with Git
• Experience with monitoring tools - (Prometheus/Grafana, Zabbix, Loki); ELK will be a plus
• Good understanding of DevOps principles
• Experience with VMware / Proxmox will be a plus
• Experience with GCP / AWS will be a plus
• Experience with DB software (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse) will be a plus
• Ability to learn new tools and technology, issue-solver attitude
• At least Intermediate+ English level

Duties:

• Research new technology solutions in the blockchain industry
• Linux system administration
• Configuring backups and failover
• Troubleshooting faulty services
• Developing and supporting monitoring solutions
• Supporting blockchain nodes, including experience with log monitoring tools such as Loki
