DevOps Engineer (Blockchain)

We collaborate with over 80 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain networks, helping them grow through reliable and secure infrastructure. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges using cutting-edge technologies in a rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.

Technical Background:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.

Core Skills:

• Linux Administration: Extensive experience with Debian/Ubuntu-based systems.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation tasks.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
• Provisioning & Automation: Skilled in using Ansible and Terraform.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and familiar with GitOps methodologies.
• Monitoring & Logging: Practical knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Zabbix.
• Networking: Strong understanding of networking protocols, peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, DNS, VPNs (e.g., WireGuard, OpenVPN), and load balancing (e.g., HAProxy).
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
• Security: Understanding of DevSecOps best practices; experience managing secrets with tools like HashiCorp Vault and AWS KMS is an advantage.
• English: Proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with blockchain-specific tools (e.g., Keplr, Ledger, MetaMask, Yubico keys).
• Prior involvement in blockchain mainnet or testnet launches.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain various blockchain infrastructure components, including validator nodes, full nodes, archive nodes, and RPC nodes.
• Ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of all blockchain services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Containerize applications and services to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions; analyze logs to improve system stability and performance.
• Securely handle sensitive information using industry-standard security tools.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in blockchain technology, cloud computing, and DevOps.
• Participate actively in team meetings and discussions on platforms such as Slack, Discord, and Telegram.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.
