Strong junior Shopify developer on Liquid to $1400

As a Shopify Developer (on Liquid) at EVDEV, you will be responsible for creating and customizing Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Your role will involve collaborating with our design and development teams to deliver pixel-perfect Shopify websites, enhance user experiences with animations, custom filters, and work on various customization aspects, including different types of meta fields and account customization.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Develop and maintain Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2.  Create pixel-perfect, visually stunning, and responsive Shopify websites.
3.  Implement and optimize animations to enhance user engagement and interactivity.
4.  Customize Shopify themes to meet specific client requirements and branding.
5.  Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration of design concepts.
6.  Work with custom filters and different types of meta fields to extend Shopify functionality.
7.  Customize the customer account area to improve user experience and functionality.
8.  Troubleshoot and resolve any Shopify-related technical issues.
9.  Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices.
10.  Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
11.  Communicate effectively with pm to understand clients' requirements and provide technical solutions.

Qualifications:

1.  2+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including experience with pet projects or personal projects.
2.  6+ months of experience in Shopify development.
3.  Proficiency in Shopify CLI and AJAX API.
4.  Ability to work with different Shopify apps.
5.  Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
6.  Familiarity with custom filters, different types of meta fields, and Shopify app integration.
7.  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8.  Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
9.  A passion for staying up-to-date with e-commerce and web development trends.

Nice-to-Have:

1.  Experience with Shopify Plus and enterprise-level projects.
2.  Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Shopify websites.
