Automation QA Engineer Offline

Our client is looking for a talented Automation QA Engineer to join their US-based team for at least 6 months. This person will be responsible for building the automation testing environment from scratch, automating regression tests, and training the manual team to write regression tests.
More specifically, as an Automation QA Engineer, you will:
- Set up the automation testing environment from scratch;
- Automate regression tests and train the manual team to write regression tests;
- Manage the entire testing lifecycle, including, test case creation, and automation;
- Validate changes to the product primarily by developing, executing, and maintaining automated UI, API, and backend service tests;
- Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution;
- Actively participate in refining, planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and reviews.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer;
- Experience building test automation in Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript;
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results, identify issues, and effectively communicate them to the development team;
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail;
- At least Upper-intermediate level of English (B2 or higher);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment;
- Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality results on time.
