We are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, secure and commercially successful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the Continuous Integration environment.
- Maintain and enhance the company’s internal IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on development & fix of key components of the exchange platform.
- Investigate and resolve incidents.
- Design and maintain a highly reliable and secure production environment, including logging, monitoring, analytics, etc.
- Participate in audits and vendor risk assessments.
- Coordinate and participate in penetration tests and disaster recovery tests.
- Cover part of an on-call rota to provide production support.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Up-to-date knowledge in these areas: networking, relational databases, security.
- Solid grasp of modern software development practices (version control, continuous integration/delivery, acceptance testing, etc.). Significant hands-on experience in the fields of software development and operations.
- A self-starter and somebody who is willing to roll up sleeves to help to achieve all the goals.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
- Strong coordination skills; will be involved in coordinating test activities across stakeholders, partners, contractors, and vendors.
- Understanding of the operational and security requirements that come with operating in a regulated, financial environment.
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge of SOC2, ISO27001 or other related standards.
- Knowledge of blockchain principles.
Technical skills:
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Unix/Linux-based environments, preferably for a financial services institution.
- TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, proxy configuration.
- Key management, HSMs, PKI, TLS, VPNs, SGX, single sign-on, mobile device management, penetration testing.
- Database administration.
- Automated management of secure, stable, test and production environments.
- Creating test plans, coordinating tests, executing tests (acceptance, performance, load, security).
- Configuring and operating message brokers.
- Monitoring (using stacks such as ELK, Datadog, Graphite/Grafana, etc.).
- Scripting (Python, shell).
- Building, packaging, distributing, deploying, tuning, and monitoring of JVM-based application stacks.
- Incident management and incident response.
- Using and managing the Atlassian tool set (Jira, Service Desk, etc).
- Virtualization and containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes).
Will be a plus:
- Azure experience.
- SQL, Oracle experience.
