Middle+ QA Engineer (Automation (JS)) to $3000 Offline

As we continue to grow and expand our portfolio, we are seeking a skilled Middle QA Engineer (Automation) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks for web applications.
  • Perform manual testing as needed to understand application behavior and identify areas for automation.
  • Collaborate with developers to define test automation strategies and ensure high test coverage.
  • Perform automated regression, performance, and integration testing, analyzing results and reporting issues.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners to ensure smooth, continuous integration and delivery.
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and automation strategies within the team.
  • Analyze test results, document defects, and provide comprehensive feedback to the development team.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and developers to understand business requirements, translate them into high-quality technical solutions that meet those needs.
  • Stay current with the latest QA technologies and best practices, and promote continuous learning and self-development within the team. Mentor other team members, providing guidance and sharing your knowledge.
  • Contribute to the agile development process by participating in scrum events, and driving towards a cross-functional, collaborative work environment.
  • Development and maintenance of a high-level engineering culture within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or similar, and experience in testing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
  • Ability to generate comprehensive test reports and metrics using reporting tools to provide insights into test coverage and quality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and stakeholders.
  • English at Upper-Intermediate level and above, both written and verbal.

Will be a plus:

 

  • Awareness of security testing principles and the ability to incorporate security tests into the automation framework to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with mobile device farms or cloud-based testing platforms for efficient mobile test automation.
