About the project
A new, unique lottery product for a small territory in Europe (population of less than 500,000). It will be developed in collaboration with the local government with all the necessary licenses and contracts. Eligible (18+) residents of the territory will be offered the choice to purchase lottery products at various price points defined in the lottery’s rules. They will have the option to pay at the till of a physical retail location or by using the pre-funded (topped-up) balance of their online accounts. Draws will be scheduled at regular intervals (e.g. monthly) and some winners will be chosen according to a combination of game rules. There will be several categories of winers and the total of the payouts as a percentage of the collected funds must equal the value set in the contract with the governing body (e.g. 75%). The remaining sum is split between the government and the lottery operator in a similarly contractually agreed ratio.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in automation testing;
- 2+ years of experience with Programming language ( JavaScript, TypeScript );
- 1+ year of experience with Appium;
- 3+ years of experience with Mobile application testing;
- 3+ years of experience with API application;
- Experience with Android/iOS emulators;
- Experience in writing test automation documentation;
- Knowledge of testing methodologies;
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions;
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub;
- Experience with DB clients and strong knowlage of DynamoDB;
- Understanding of client-server architecture, microservices and backend testing experience;
- Experience with AWS cloud services;
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC;
- English is spoken and written at the upper-intermediate level or higher.

Would be a plus

- ISTQB certification;
- Performance testing experience with Jmeter or similar tool.
 

What you will do

- Deveop automation framework from scratch;
- Develop an automated testing approach and test scripts based on requirements-related artifacts;
- Provide automated testing coverage for assigned projects;
- Provide metrics and reporting with different tools like Monocart, Allure or etc;
- Provide updates to effort estimates and status of assigned tasks;
- Communicate about and participate in improving test-automation- and/or QA-related procedures, systems, and tools;
- Be up-to-date with the main popular AQA strategies, tools, and technologies;
- Understand and meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development principles and product goals;
- Collaborate with other team members and with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across geographies;
- Provide a positive, polite, and open-minded style of communication;
- Good verbal and writing English language skills.
