Shopify Developer (Custom Apps and API Integrations) Offline

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom Shopify apps (both public and private) and building seamless integrations between Shopify and third-party systems. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including Node.js, Remix, React.js, Laravel, and Shopify's robust API ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting and complex projects with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (public & private) using Node.js, Remix, React.js, and Laravel.
• Build and integrate Shopify APIs, including Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, and REST API.
• Create custom Shopify functionalities, such as checkout extensions, custom shipping methods, and payment integrations.
• Integrate third-party APIs (ERP systems, CRM platforms, payment providers, and shipping carriers) to extend Shopify's capabilities.
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of Shopify stores and custom applications.
   

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Shopify API integrations, including GraphQL and REST.
• Solid understanding of Shopify’s Liquid templating language and data structure.
• Development experience with embedded Shopify apps.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Understanding of webhooks and background jobs for asynchronous processing.
   

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker hosting solutions (e.g., Fly.io).
• PHP (Laravel)
• Development experience with embedded Shopify apps.
