Description:

Our customer is global leader in media localization, offering technology-driven, end-to-end solutions for films, television, games, digital media, and corporate content. 

The project will involve working with SDVI Rally (Media Supply Chain Management Platform). Don't worry if you haven't worked with it before, the work will involve learning how to work with it.

Requirements:

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with 5+ years of expertise in developing scalable and efficient software solutions.

- Expertise in CI/CD practices and their implementation

- Practical experience with Amazon Web Services and Grafana

- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Solid understanding of computer networks

- Experience with automatization of unit/functional/integrated tests

- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

- Experience with MAM and/or CMS would be a huge plus

- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

- English level – B2+

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Knowledge of video encoding/transcoding technologies and standards, such as MPEG-DASH and HLS, Expertise in SDVI Rally is a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, and implement software solutions for SDVI, with a strong emphasis on Python programming.
Create and maintain efficient algorithms and data structures for managing video infrastructure resources.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software systems, providing timely resolutions and enhancements.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
Document software designs, implementation details, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
