Partnership Manager (Banks, Financial Institutions)
Position Overview
We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented Partnership Manager to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key role in expanding our partner network by successfully opening and maintaining accounts with key financial institutions. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new partners, including banks, PSPs (Payment Service Providers), APM (Alternative Payment Method) providers, and Open Banking platforms.
Regular tasks
- Opening of Correspondent Bank accounts as well as accounts with APM providers and other FIs
- Gather and prepare all necessary legal documentation for account opening applications, including corporate documents, AML policies, and KYC
- Filling out EDD and onboarding forms
- Daily communication with partner banks and financial institutions (primarily via email) to ensure a timely and efficient onboarding process
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather additional information required for account opening processes
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential FI partners
- Monitor deadlines and maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
Skills & Requirements - 3+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, or account management within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on opening correspondent bank accounts
- Proven track record of successful correspondent account openings
- Understanding of EMI regulations and compliance requirements (AML policies, etc.)
- Understanding of the correspondent banking market landscape
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CRM systems
- Fluency in English
