QA Manager/Lead with Automation skills

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced QA Manager/Lead to establish and optimize manual and automated testing processes while ensuring seamless release management. You will play a pivotal role in the QA team, combining leadership skills with technical expertise in automation. The product is a mobile application related to electric vehicles and charging stations, so your work will directly contribute to an innovative and rapidly growing field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding of Web process, mobile and desktop application testing.
• Understanding of Client-server architecture.
• Implement, optimize, and document QA processes for manual and automated testing.
• Develop and maintain the testing strategy, including automation and regression testing.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, handle task planning, and evaluate team performance.
• Integrate and configure automated testing frameworks (UI, API, Mobile, Performance).
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams.
• Analyze and report on product quality while ensuring critical functionality is covered with tests.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years in a Lead or Manager role.
• Hands-on experience in test automation with Java/Kotlin/Groovy.
• Strong expertise in setting up CI/CD and test environments.
• Experience with the following tools and technologies:
  • Docker, Jenkins, AWS, SQS/SNS
  • Java, Gradle, Kotlin, STOMP, MySQL
  • Testing frameworks: Gatling, Playwright, JUnit5, RestAssured
• Knowledge of performance and load testing processes.
• Proven experience in release management and working with team metrics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead the team.
• English level: Intermediate+ (for team communication and documentation).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with KOTLIN (KTOR)/ Java (SPRING) and performance testing.
