A Family Office unit is a group of professionals who manage the financial, investment, and personal affairs of a family. They provide services such as wealth management, tax planning, estate planning, healthcare, security, personal matters, and philanthropy, ensuring the family’s long-term well-being and legacy.
We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to ensure the informational security of our geographically distributed business and family members within the Family Office business unit. With locations across Ukraine, Dubai, Cyprus, and the UK, the role will focus on developing and enforcing security protocols that protect business operations, sensitive data, and personal safety. The position requires collaboration with IT colleagues from other business units to ensure alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce security measures to protect business IT systems, and ensure cybersecurity across all locations.
- Organise the physical security of business premises and family residences, including coordinating with security personnel and external vendors.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats, ensuring both business assets and family members are secure.
- Oversee and manage surveillance systems, access controls, and alarm systems across the business unit.
- Collaborate with IT teams from other business units to ensure consistency in cybersecurity protocols and responses.
- Respond to security incidents or breaches, taking immediate action to investigate and resolve issues.
- Ensure personal protection for family members during travel, business engagements, or other activities.
- Maintain compliance with security regulations and stay updated on emerging threats and legal requirements.
- Execute other IT/Security-related activities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in information security roles, with the ability to manage across multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, risk management, and data protection regulations.
- Experience in physical security management, including monitoring systems, access controls, and personal protection services.
- Ability to design and execute Disaster Recovery strategies to ensure business continuity
- Solid understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) concepts and principles, including design and implementation of access control strategies to ensure appropriate data access permissions.
- Experience in setting video surveillance HIKVISiON DAHUA and using HIKVISION SUPREMA (access control system)
- Experience with MIKROTIK Fortigate products
- Understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP SNTP SMTP IMAP ICMP IPSec VoIP
- Experience with set upping and maintenance AJAX
- In-depth knowledge of encryption protocols for data at rest and data in transit
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing security breaches or emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to manage security-related logistics when required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Intermediate English level is a must.
Nice to have:
- Experience with ESET
- Working knowledge with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) (Graylog, Greenbone)
