A Family Office unit is a group of professionals who manage the financial, investment, and personal affairs of a family. They provide services such as wealth management, tax planning, estate planning, healthcare, security, personal matters, and philanthropy, ensuring the family’s long-term well-being and legacy.

We are seeking an experienced Security Manager / Network Engineer to ensure the informational security of our geographically distributed business and family members within the Family Office business unit. With locations across Ukraine, Dubai, Cyprus, and the UK, the role will focus on developing and enforcing security protocols that protect business operations, sensitive data, and personal safety. The position requires collaboration with IT colleagues from other business units to ensure alignment.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop, enforce, and execute security policies for IT systems, ensuring data protection and compliance across all locations.

● Manage, monitor, and secure network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN), cloud services, and on-premise systems.

● Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and take immediate action on identified issues to maintain system security.

● Provide hands-on support for desktop systems, including the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.

● Address and resolve end-user desktop issues via service desk tickets or direct interaction.

● Oversee the deployment of IT hardware and ensure proper configuration for security and performance.

● Implement access controls, security measures, surveillance systems, alarm systems, and IT infrastructure protections.

● Implement and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and safeguard critical data.

● Lead training initiatives for employees on IT security best practices and safe usage of systems.

● Manage vendor relationships and ensure third-party services meet internal IT and security standards.

● Execute other IT/Security-related activities as assigned.

Requirements

● Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, risk management, and data protection

regulations.

● Experience in managing network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and cloud security.

● Ability to provide hands-on support for desktops, hardware, and software

troubleshooting.

● Familiarity with IT service desk tools and ticket management.

● Practical experience in incident response, with a proactive approach to resolving security breaches.

● Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

● Experience in designing and executing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity

Plans (BCP).

● Solid understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) concepts and principles,

including design and implementation of access control strategies to ensure

appropriate data access permissions

● In-depth knowledge of encryption protocols for data at rest and data in transit

● Strong collaboration skills, especially in working with IT colleagues from other units to maintain security consistency.

● Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing security breaches or emergencies.

● Valid driver’s license and flexibility to manage security-related logistics when required.

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

● Upper-Intermediate English level.
