What You'll Do

• Backend Development:
  • Build robust APIs using Django and FastAPI.
  • Implement and maintain Pydantic-based schemas for data validation and interaction.
• Geospatial Projects:
  • Work with geospatial data and tiling systems (PostGIS, vector tiles, Mapbox).
  • Handle geospatial queries and optimize large datasets for map visualization.
• Integration with Stripe:
  • Enhance and maintain payment integrations using Stripe’s API.
• Middleware Development:
  • Create and optimize middleware for logging, monitoring, and enhanced performance.
• Collaborate and Innovate:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions.
  • Optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL and Redis.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Django and FastAPI frameworks.
• Experience with Pydantic for schema validation.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and PostGIS.
• Hands-on experience with vector tiles, map layers, and geospatial computations.
• Familiarity with Redis and caching strategies.
• Preferred: A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates with strong academic foundations will have an advantage in understanding and contributing to our technical challenges.
• Bonus: Experience with Stripe API, middleware development, or frontend frameworks.
