Mid Level iOS Swift Mobile Developer + Xamarin knowledge Offline

Job Description:
 

For a very successful international company in the Aviation world based in Tel-Aviv, we are looking for a strong Swift developer to migrate/rebuild some Xamarin.ios apps into native Swift iOS applications and then take part in developing new native apps and features.

The successful candidate will work closely with an outstanding team of engineers to develop new features and iOS apps for our Aviation Maintenance system applications, which are used by the major commercial International aerospace and airline companies (Bowing, Sikorsky, United Airlines, and more)

Experience with Xamarin mobile application development is needed for the first Xamarin to native iOS (Swift) projects

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
• At least 2 years of experience building iOS applications
• At least 2 years of experience with Swift
• Experience in working with frameworks (open source or internal)
• Good English (upper-intermediate or higher)

• Strong proficiency in:
• Design and build iOS applications in Swift
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
• Learn and support new systems and applications

Position Requirements:

• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with the publishing process for the iOS app store
• Some experience with the Azure Xamarin developmen  t platform
• 4+ years of software development experience
