Senior DevOps (FinOps)

PIN-UP Global is an international holding specializing in the development and implementation of advanced technologies, B2B solutions and innovative products for the iGaming industry. We provide certification and licensing of our products, providing customers and partners of the holding with high-quality and reliable solutions.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer o join our team.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years in FinOps or a similar role with a technical focus on AWS.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of AWS services, pricing models, AWS FinOps strategies,Terraform. Ability to script in Python or similar for automation purposes.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret complex billing data and utilization patterns.

Will be plus:

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator; Terraform Associate certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• AWS Account Auditing: Regularly perform detailed audits of AWS accounts to identify and rectify inefficiencies or unnecessary expenditures.
• Cost Optimization: Develop and execute advanced cost-saving strategies including but not limited to reserved instances, savings plans, and on-demand scaling.
• Terraform Management: Utilize Terraform to codify and standardize AWS infrastructure in line with best financial and operational practices.
• Performance Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on financial metrics, optimization efforts, and future forecasts to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure financial principles are integrated with architectural decisions.
• Tool Mastery: Employ AWS-native and third-party tools to enhance visibility and control over cloud spending.
• Governance and Training: Enforce financial governance across cloud operations and provide ongoing training to teams on cost optimization.
