About Us

Octo Games is a game development company based in the Netherlands, specializing in PC projects. With over 3 years in the industry, we have successfully launched more than 100 titles. We are currently expanding our team to build an analytics platform for game developers on Steam, providing insights into game mentions, wishlist growth, sales, and trends.

Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to collaborate with a senior lead in developing our WEB platform.

About you:

• 1-2 years of experience with Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Strong skills in REST API integration.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Interest in working closely with a senior developer for growth and mentorship.

In this role, you will:

• Build the frontend using Next.js.
• Develop and optimize backend systems with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate external APIs (e.g., Social Searcher, Steam API, Reddit API).
• Design and maintain a scalable database structure.
• Visualize data trends through interactive charts.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with data visualization (Chart.js, D3.js).
