Senior ML Engineer/Data Scientist
About the Project
We are collaborating with a leading construction company committed to sustainability and environmental protection. The goal of the project is to develop a comprehensive database showcasing construction products and their properties, including their environmental impact
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models for processing and analyzing data related to construction materials and their environmental properties
- Develop scalable architectures using Azure services
- Work with technologies such as Azure Document Intelligence for text and table extraction
- Build and fine-tune semantic embeddings using Azure OpenAI Ada models
- Implement vector search solutions with tools like Weaviate
- Use Azure OpenAI GPT models for advanced text processing and summarization
- Manage processed data storage efficiently using Delta Lake
- Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and sustainability goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning or Data Science roles, with hands-on expertise in cloud-based AI solutions
- Proficiency with Azure services, including Azure Document Intelligence, OpenAI models, and Delta Lake
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
- Experience with vector search engines (e.g., Weaviate)
- Knowledge of data processing pipelines and database management
Would be a plus:
- Familiarity with sustainability-focused projects or industries
- Experience in building databases or data platforms with a focus on environmental data
- Knowledge of construction materials and their environmental impact is a plus
