Senior Python Developer Offline

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join us at Sii Ukraine. You will work in a global team environment and get experience within the energy trading sector. You will contribute to the development of a commodities trading platform.

Your tasks:

• Deliver applications using an event-driven microservices architecture
• Manage databases, addressing performance issues, particularly with SQL Server
• Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems in Python
• Leverage Azure, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Cache techniques, and SQL databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts and business stakeholders
• Optimize application performance and scalability using performance monitoring and tuning tools
• Implement security best practices in software development, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards

Requirements:

• 10 years of relevant experience with Python
• Desirable experience with other programming languages (C++, .NET) and frameworks
• Familiarity with Github Actions is a plus
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS,) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in profiling and optimizing Python code
• Awareness of executable documentation concepts
• Experience in providing support for trading applications
• Proven experience with FastAPI and async processing
• Good verbal and written English skills
