NextJS Developer Offline

We are developing fitness apps for German market and are seeking for a talented and highly experienced NextJS developer with a passion for web applications and thought through backend applications to join our team.

The ideal candidate has a strong product mindset, a deep understanding of web development lifecycle on NextJS.

Requirements:

* 4+ years of proven experience as a NextJS (ReactJS) Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing frontend apps.

* Good understanding of distributed micro-services architecture, NATS message broker and API design patterns (for effective collaboration with teammates)

* Solid knowledge of Typescript, Swagger, Vercel, Prisma ORM, Supabase Auth, Supabase DB, NextJS, AWS and Vercel Ecosystems (including developing production ready apps)

* Deep understanding of web to server communication patterns, caching, session and state management.

* Good understanding of limitations of NexrJS and presence of ready-to-use solutions to tackle complex problems

* Experience with mono-repos (Turborepo) and PNPM package manager would be an advantage

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

* Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Knowledge of the fitness industry and familiarity with fitness applications and trends is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working on projects that include nutrition tracking, workout plans, progress tracking, and communication with external APIs.

* English B2 level is required.

* German B1 + would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

* Development of our frontend application and business logic that includes communications with external systems and a database.

* Collaboration with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the user experience.
