QA Engineer
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team!
You’ll be working on international projects for a company-provider of audit, consulting, and financial advisory from the USA.
We develop multiple types of systems. including office resource management, security incident management, background investigation processes management, visitors management, etc.). We have a fair share of existing projects and new ones too.
Our teams consist of: Technical Project Manager, Business Systems Analyst, Application Architect, Developers (dedicated FE and BE), QA Engineers, and Designers.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of testing;
- Firm understanding of QA methodologies;
- Experience in test document creation (test cases, check-lists, bug reports);
- Understanding of different types of testing and when they are applicable;
- Working knowledge of SQL;
- Excellent communication skills, analytical and troubleshooting abilities;
- Intermediate level of spoken English;
- Experience with at least 1 tracking tool (preferable TFS, VSTS or Jira);
- Understanding of different SDLC.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Agile development practices;
- Understanding of various browsers capabilities and limitations;
- Web application testing;
- Understanding of common approaches in sprint planning;
- Experience in estimating test activities.
Responsibilities:
- Testing application (manual);
- Requirement analysis (informal);
- Test documents creation (mostly test cases, check-lists);
- Report bugs and re-testing;
- Participation on planning and grooming meetings;
- Following agreed project standards;
- Track own test activities and progress on daily basis;
- Close cooperation with BSA, QA and dev teams.
