Junior\Middle Business System Analyst

Requirements

Desirable
o You have experience working with asset classes such as US Equities and Equity/Index Options.
o You have a good understanding of order management specifics particularly in the trading systems
o You are familiar with the FIX Protocol

 Responsibilities for a Strong Middle Business System Analyst:

1. Documentation: Create and maintain clear system documentation and technical writing.
2. UX/UI Collaboration: Work with designers on interfaces, mock-ups, and prototypes.
3. Tools Usage: Utilize JIRA and other software for project management and documentation.
4. API and Protocol Familiarity: Analyze and document APIs, contracts, and protocols.
5. Requirements Modeling: Gather, manage, and model requirements using ERDs and UML diagrams.
6. Task Decomposition: Break down complex tasks into manageable components.
7. Testing Support: Assist in User Acceptance Testing and support QA teams.
8. SDLC Understanding: Grasp the Software Development Life Cycle.
9. Database Skills: Write basic SQL queries and understand database limitations.
10. Data Analysis: Use data for decision-making and insights.
11. Programming (Optional): Knowledge of Python is a plus.
12. Log Management: Analyze logs for troubleshooting.
13. Knowledge Sharing: Document and share knowledge effectively.
14. Office Software: Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
