AQA API automation Test Engineer (Rest Assured) Offline

Scope:
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Fusion Web Applications & Business Services by designing, developing, and executing rigorous testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Our Current Technical Environment:
Software: Java (AQA framework),C#.NET (Back End), Angular 18, JavaScript, SQL
Tools and Methodologies: Agile, Exploratory Testing, API Testing, Test Automation
Cloud Platforms: Azure

Requirements:

5 + years experience.
Strong understanding of QA principles and best practices.
Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks ( REST Assured).
Strong Hands on Java , REST Assured api automation, selenium webdriver
Proficiency in scripting languages.
Experience with API testing tools and methodologies, with a strong focus on REST APIs.
Knowledge of SQL databases is an advantage.
Strong experience in API automation using Rest Assured and BDD frameworks with Cucumber. Implementation, execution of automation scenarios, creating test scripts.
Strong experience in Postman tool.
Strong experience in DevOps CICD tools like Jenkins and configuration management tools.
Strong experience in test management, defects tracking, and automation tools.
Strong experience in preparing automated Test data, Test Suite, and Test bed.
Strong experience in preparing Test plans, Test cases, and Test scripts.
Strong experience in detecting Bugs, classifying them based on severity, priority and logging them in the defect tracking tool, and managing the defect through the Bug life cycle.
Strong Knowledge of designing Test cases, verifying, and validating REST API.
Participates in agile estimation taking into consideration product and process requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts to ensure thorough and effective testing of our products.
Collaborate with developers and vendors to identify and resolve defects throughout the development process.
Advocate for best practices in testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Analyse test results, identify the root causes of defects, and track bug resolution to ensure product quality.
Work closely with product managers and development teams to define acceptance criteria and support successful product launches.
Provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and overall product performance.
Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in software testing to ensure the teams methods and tools are up to date.
