Senior Backend Developer — NodeJS Offline

Our customer is a leading global sustainability software company, founded in 2014 and headquartered in Iceland. Its Sustainability Platform revolutionizes the way you manage sustainability. With all your tools and data consolidated in a single, user-friendly digital platform, you can say goodbye to inefficiencies and embrace streamlined processes. The project aims to enhance and improve the platform core functionality.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop state-of-the-art applications using the latest and greatest technology available.
• Be part of an autonomous cross-functional team
• Participate in shaping the product you are working on

• Deliver high quality code

   

Professional requirements:

• At least 5+ years’ experience in software development with a focus on backend
• NodeJS
• Express
• GraphQL,
• PostgreSQL
• AWS
• Experience with TypeScript
• Proficient at core web technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Material UI, Ag Grid and Apollo client
• Unit testing
• Curious, self-driven, and like to explore how technology can solve business/domain problems
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher. You must be able to communicate with Icelandic team directly.
• High-level of responsibility and loyalty

Be a plus:

• Experience with React
• Experience working within Agile environment

• Experience with NX and Circle CI
