Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong B2B focus and fintech expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technical solutions, ensuring seamless data integration and collaboration across teams. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product managers to define, document, and manage data-driven solutions.
 

Responsibilities:

Define and Manage Data Sources:

  • Identify, evaluate, and document internal and external data sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party services.
  • Align selected data sources with business objectives and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Requirements Gathering:

  • Translate business goals into actionable data requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) detailing schemas, data structures, and metadata standards.

Data Flow Design:

  • Map and document data flows for collection, processing, storage, and utilization.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth data integration and pipeline transformation.

Data Quality and Compliance:

  • Establish protocols for data merging, cleaning, and normalization to maintain accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
  • Monitor KPIs for data quality and relevance.

Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Document data-related processes, flows, and schemas.
  • Present insights and recommendations in an accessible manner for non-technical stakeholders.
     

Requirements:

Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years in business analysis or related roles, with at least 2 complex data integrations completed.
  • Proficiency in SQL and basic familiarity with Python.
  • Expertise in data integration techniques, ETL pipelines, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of ER diagrams and data mapping.
  • Advanced English language skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in fintech.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Understanding of data governance and quality management.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Team collaboration and stakeholder management expertise.
