Automated Quality Assurance (AQA) Engineer Offline

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Automated Quality Assurance (AQA) Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead the test automation efforts for our IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and be experienced in implementing test strategies from scratch. You will work closely with developers and project managers to ensure high-quality software delivery, helping us build scalable and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

● Develop Test Documentation: Design and implement test plans, test cases, and testing strategies tailored to the project requirements.

 ● Automated Testing: Create and maintain automated test scripts for both UI and API layers.

 ● Integration with CI/CD: Configure and integrate automated tests within Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.

 ● Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure smooth implementation of test automation within existing workflows.

 ● Test Environment Management: Utilize tools such as Docker and Kubernetes to create, manage, and maintain testing environments.

 ● Quality Advocacy: Be the champion of quality assurance in the team, advocating for best practices and driving continuous improvements in testing processes.

Requirements:

● Experience in Test Automation:

● UI Automation: Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium or Cypress. 

● API Automation: Proficiency in using tools like Postman or RestSharp.

● Experience with CI/CD Tools: Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms.

● Some Exposure to C#: Understanding of C# for automation purposes; ability to collaborate with the team on shared language frameworks is a plus.

● Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for test environment management.

● Test Automation Certification: ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification is preferred, but not mandatory.

● Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage the entire testing effort independently, from planning to execution.

Nice to Have: 

● Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using tools like SpecFlow.

● Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.

● Knowledge of cloud testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
