PCB Layout Engineer Offline

The company is a leading global self-driving car company. Their self-driving cars are capable of handling the most challenging and dynamic traffic scenarios in urban cities around the world. It also obtained the world's second driverless RoboTaxi permit from California. The Company is the first in Shenzhen and Shanghai to operate a fully driverless RoboTaxi service on public roads without any safety driver, covering the world's largest driverless area.

Responsibilities:

Hardware design for autonomous driving systems

Job Responsibilities:

• Based on schematics provided by hardware engineers, independently and punctually complete PCB layout and routing design with high quality, and organize technical reviews for the layout design;
• Collaborate with electronic engineers, SI/PI engineers, structural engineers, and thermal design engineers to finalize the layout design plan;
• Output PCB and SMT production files; confirm PCB manufacturing engineering, and handle engineering issues encountered during PCB processing;
• Establish, maintain, and manage the component library;
• Participate in continuous improvement of PCB design and DFM design guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electronics, computer science, communications, automation, electrical engineering, or a related field, with more than 5 years of experience in PCB layout design; 
• Experience in automotive electronics PCB layout design is preferred;
• Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools such as Cadence and Altium Designer;
• Experience in high-speed digital circuits, mixed-signal designs, high-current, and high-power PCB layouts. Experience in small-signal circuit design is a plus;
• Familiar with EMC design for electronic products, and knowledgeable in PCB thermal design and thermal analysis;
• Familiar with PCB manufacturing processes such as standard FR4 and aluminum substrates, and knowledgeable in SMT process flows and penalization requirements;
• Experience with high-frequency and microwave PCB design is a plus;
• Strong initiative with good team collaboration skills.
