Senior Shopify Developer Offline

Wonderment Apps is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer with a proven track record of successful design, development, and maintenance of client-side applications including large scale, complex responsive native web applications utilizing modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks, supported by modern industry-standard tooling, practices, and techniques. Must have experience with integration between Shopify and React js

Responsibilities:

Create user-friendly web pages with Shopify, Reactjs libraries and markup languages (HTML5, CSS3)

Integrate Shopify API and supported Shopify Apps

Building the structure and design of web pages.

Integration with ERP systems like Netsuite.

Ensuring web design is optimized and responsive for different platforms like mobile, tablet.

Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

Building reusable code for future use.

Engage in relevant discussions throughout the entire SDLC, including requirements gathering, architecture/design, implementation, deployment, testing, and maintenance.

Adhere to standard rules, processes for development and actively participate in code reviews.

Oversee technical deliverables for invest and maintenance projects through the software development life cycle, including validating the completeness of estimates, quality and accuracy of technical designs, build and implementation.

Requirements:

5+ years of work experience in software development with Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform

Must have experience with Shopify Plus.

Proficient knowledge of Shopify liquid code and its advanced concepts.

Use Shopify liquid, jQuery, CSS, HTML to deliver bugfree interfaces as required

Use Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc.) to deliver the required functionality

Must have experience with integration between Shopify and React js. Must have expertise to design, develop, test and deploy solutions based on industry’s best practices as per organizational requirements.

Ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimize the shop for overall efficiency and functionality

Understanding of web design/development concepts and processes.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)

Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS Competency with web standards

Extensive Experience in Responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap 4 preferred)

Advanced use of browser dev tools

Good understanding of web standards, backward compatibility, accessibility, i18n/i10n

Nice-to-haves:

Experience with GTM+ GA4 integration and data layers, Algolia implementation.

Experience with TDD/BDD patterns

Experience with modern web application build processes (Webpack)
