Role Overview:
As a Next.js Developer at Phone2, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining the frontend of our web applications using Next.js. You will work closely with our product and backend teams to deliver a seamless, user-friendly experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones using Next.js.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to ensure a smooth integration of frontend and backend functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web development.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with Next.js.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with API integration and SSR (Server-Side Rendering).
- Familiarity with TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, and responsive design.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
- Experience working with shadcn/UI
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with VoIP technologies and cloud platforms like Freeswitch
