Rakuten Advertising is looking for a Manager to head our Systems Analysis team! Reporting into the Director, Business Systems Analysis, this is a new role which brings together our analysis capabilities from operational and process automation teams. This role will be responsible for developing teams which analyze and evangelize automation opportunities and process improvements; as well as develop and manage projects to drive efficiency, improve quality of work, and generate new data and insights across Rakuten. Systems Analysis will field requests from across the organization, working directly with Operations, Process Automation and Engineering to deliver appropriate improvements, as well as with Product Development to coordinate resources and ensure appropriate solution design.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Process Automation, Operations, and beyond to deliver projects, ensuring timely execution through high-quality estimates and timelines
  • Lead your team to develop and refine methodologies, tools, and templates to allow for the successful execution of analytic deliverables, including process and solution documentation
  • Deeply integrate with Rakuten Advertising teams to proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create predictability and understanding of team capabilities and schedules through the creation and implementation of rigorous policies and procedures
  • Develop project and team KPIs and reporting methods
  • Manage and grow a global team, developing skills and competencies toward mastery

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • English (at least Upper-Intermediate)
  • Effective and persuasive communicator; ability to communicate findings and recommendations thoroughly and concisely to company leadership
  • Proven success in managing teams in a multi-faceted environment (1+ years required); with the ability and desire to recruit and grow a team
  • 3+ years’ experience leading projects to completion on-time while delivering on stated goals is desirable
  • Positive attitude, detail oriented with good multitasking and organization ability
