SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) Consultant to provide Application Management Support (AMS) for our enterprise client. The successful candidate will support the existing SAP DMC implementation through a structured ticketing system, ensuring operational excellence and timely resolution of issues. This is a remote role, aligned with Central Time (USA) working hours, and includes regular collaboration with a cross-functional team based in Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 AMS support for SAP DMC solutions.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests logged in the client’s ticketing system.
• Perform issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution for both functional and technical DMC issues.
• Interface with end-users and stakeholders to gather clarifications and provide timely updates on ticket progress.
• Coordinate with the Italian support/development team for escalations, enhancements, and knowledge sharing.
• Support DMC integrations with SAP ERP (e.g., S/4HANA or ECC), MES systems, and shop floor equipment.
• Document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and contribute to process improvement efforts.
• Adhere to SLAs and ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP DMC (Digital Manufacturing Cloud).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and SAP MES/DMC architecture.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across SAP DMC modules and interfaces.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with global teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Italian counterparts (knowledge of Italian is a plus but not mandatory).
• Understanding of data integration, IoT services, and cloud-based manufacturing workflows is a plus.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or legacy SAP ERP integration to DMC.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, AWS) and IoT connectivity.
• Exposure to Agile or ITIL frameworks for incident and service management. Work Schedule:
• Remote role with working hours aligned to USA Central Time (CST/CDT).
• Must be flexible to occasionally adjust hours for meetings or collaboration with the Italian team.
