Flutter Engineer (German speaking)

Location: Remote 

Project: German Newspaper Application Development 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter. 

- Collaborate closely with the product team to gather requirements and define application features. 

- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand standards. 

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices. 

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing mobile applications. 

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. 

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our mobile solutions remain competitive. 

Qualifications: 

- Proven experience as a Mobile Software Developer with a minimum of 3 years in Flutter development. 

- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design principles. 

- Proficiency in Dart and knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/integrations. 

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. 

- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and effectively communicate with team members. 

- Fluent in German (spoken and written) to facilitate communication with the project stakeholders. 

Preferred Skills: 

- Experience with other mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native) is a plus. 

- Knowledge of app store submission processes and mobile app analytics. 

- Familiarity with backend technologies (such as Firebase or Node.js) would be advantageous.
